Inspired by the magnetic gaze of this sinuous animal, the new Bulgari eyewear collection fall-winter 2017 proposes this iconic theme in a contemporary version.

Bulgari re-interprets the unforgettable jewels of the Forties inspired by Cleopatra’s necklaces, with new modernity, combining bold materials and colors with the superb artisan workmanship, transforming enamels and stones into shimmering shades of light.

The collection of sunglasses and eyeglasses, inspired by jewellery, comes in three versions with square and sinuous shapes, inspired by the movements of the serpent. The aesthetics are both powerful and lightweight while the bold, faceted volumes capture the light just like the angled cut of a jewel.

The temple decorations are handmade on galvanized metal enamels in tones of malachite, rubellite and mother of pearl, and meticulously applied Austrian crystals in varying numbers (158 in the first sunglasses version, 112 in the second sunglasses and eyeglasses version and 18 in the third sunglasses and eyeglasses version), to embody the glow and nuances of the serpent's scales. The color palette offers sophisticated shades of colours, from classics  black and Havana, to the audacious grey and cherry.

The Serpenti collection is designed for a bold woman, eye-catching, exuberant and full of life, a lover of uncompromising luxury and precious details.  With her perfect face and her strong personality,  the British top model and actress Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, is Bulgari's  ambassador for accessories, giving life to the advertising campaign of this precious eyewear collection.
