Design & product innovation
The Design of Luxottica’s products is the focal point where vision, innovation, technology and creativity converge. Each frame expresses our two core percepts: the use of innovative materials, technologies and processes and unparallelled craftsmanship.
Our vertically integrated model gives us oversight of the entire production process. This allows us to maintain the highest quality standards and gives us the perspective and freedom to innovate in the areas of design, R&D and manufacturing.
The wholesale distribution structure covers more than 130 countries, with nearly 50 direct operations in major markets and approximately 100 independent distributors in other markets. Wholesale customers are mostly retailers of mid to premium-priced eyewear, optical retail chains, department stores and duty free.

With over 7,000 retail stores worldwide, our retail distribution network allows us to stay in touch with the end consumer and use their ever-changing behaviors and preferences to shape our products.
As our corporate headquarters in Milan where most of our global functions are, Italy acts as a bridge connecting all the areas and offices, offering unique potential for growth, horizontal mobility and the opportunity to work in different countries.
