DOLCE&GABBANA’S DNA: identity and roots

The values inspiring Dolce&Gabbana are rooted as deep in Italian culture as in the brand’s own DNA. Each of the fashion house’s creations evokes sensations and images masterfully embodied in distinctive symbols, set between tradition and fashion.

A call back to the brand’s roots can also be seen in the choice of models Bianca Balti and Chiara Scelsi, longstanding stars of a number of Dolce&Gabbana ad campaigns, and perfect symbols of the genuine ultra-feminine beauty that the brand represents. These same characteristics can be found in the eyewear collection, in the two sunglasses models and one optical version that are instantly recognisable and alluring.

Oval-shaped, vintage-inspired and embellished with the Dolce&Gabbana logo on the slender temples, this elegant sunglasses model is available not only in classic black and havana, but also in the new Black Leo Glitter motif and the Roseto floral print. Both of these original motifs also feature on the other sunglasses model, which is designed in an iconic squared shape.

The optical version, which takes on a butterfly form that differs with its more slender temples, available both in gold and rose for a sophisticated look.
