One of the most important exhibitions of the eyewear industry: Luxottica is there.
Mido (the word stands for International Optics, Optometry and Ophthalmology Exhibition) is one of the most important international events in the Eyewear Industry. It takes place every year in Milano, at Fieramilano Rho-Pero, this year from March 1st to the 3rd,and occupies 6 big pavilions.
The different branches of the industry are all represented here: sunglasses and prescription glasses, lenses, contact lenses, machinery and components, tools and equipment for frames and lenses industry.
Luxottica has been attending this event since the very beginning (the show is 44 years old this year). And this year states its presence with a 400 square meters booth in the pavilion named Fashion District.
The Luxottica Booth has a strong visual impact, hosting visual references of all Luxottica assets, from the head quarter on the Dolomiti mountains to its commitment to craftsmanship, from the constant attention to innovation to the ability to renew universal icons of the field.
The house brands, such as Oakley and Ray-Ban, Vogue-Eyewear and Persol, will be presented with dedicated video-clips but will also be enjoyable live through “close encounters”: Luxottica’s employees, aka Luxotticans, and staff will be welcoming the visitors and showing them what’s new in the collections.
The latest innovations in materials can be tested at first hand and details of new collections, such as the CFDA Vogue-Eyewear Collection or the recent Persol Film Noir will be available to all those who want to take a closer look.
