All roads lead to Rome. At least they do when six of the most in-demand web influencers of the moment—Filippo Fiora and Filippo Cirulli (THE THREE F); Giotto Calendoli (THE ATELIER); Nicolò De Devitiis (_DIVANOLETTO); and Giulio Berruti and Mariano Di Vaio (MDV STYLE)—take five custom, vintage motorcycles on a road trip to Rome for the opening of the first European Polo Ralph Lauren freestanding store.

In the heart of Rome, at the corner of Via del Corso and Via Frattina, a restored historic building houses the new Polo store. A little corner of America spanning over two floors and nearly five thousand square feet, the building boasts signature elements such as Ivy League club insignia and whitewashed brick that evokes a New York City loft. Mr. Lauren explains his decision to open his latest Polo store in the Eternal City, noting:

“Rome has a vibrancy and an energy that simultaneously embrace its rich heritage and romantic character with a contemporary attitude. This is very much the spirit of Polo, and I look forward to seeing it thrive in this legendary city.”

The store invites clients to explore the expansive world of Polo Ralph Lauren, ranging from apparel and footwear to leather goods and accessories. There is also a selection of Polo Ralph Lauren eyewear, created in collaboration with Luxottica.

Iconic models from the Polo Ralph Lauren line were featured both in the bloggers’ trip to Rome, which you can find here, and at the charity party organized in collaboration with GQ to celebrate the opening. The console manned by Violante Placido and DJ Alex Braga, along with the band Thegiornalisti, livened up the party as the five custom-made motorcycles were auctioned off to benefit the nonprofit organization Fondazione Tumori Neuroendocrini Elisabetta Pocaterra Onlus.

A dedicated sunglass bar was another highlight of the evening, featuring a special selection from the Polo eyewear collection. Guests were invited to try on sunglasses and take a selfie, uploading images to social media with the tags #MeetMeAtPolo, #Roma and @POLORALPHLAUREN.
