Dolce&Gabbana: a tribute to Italian creativity

Shot by renowned photographer Branislav Simoncik, the new Dolce&Gabbana Spring-Summer 21 eyewear campaign celebrates Italian design and creativity with several key elements in the Men’s and Women’s Collections.

The Men’s campaign is a homage to Italian creativity and design, the unforgettable atmosphere of Sorrento and the colors of the sea, where optical details on lightweight fabrics are combined with the brightness of white.

The geometric lines and bold details of the glasses come together to create contemporary and refined models. The protagonist of the main shots is the DG Pattern, characterized by an innovative temple with Dolce&Gabbana pattern details and distinctive matte-shiny contrasts.

The Women’s campaign is a tribute to the “Fatto a Mano” (which means “handmade”) through the colors and patchwork that resemble Sicily, the island that has always been a source of inspiration for the brand. The glasses featured in the main shots belong to two distinctive product families.

First, is the DG Crossed frame characterized by a contemporary style, where both the cat-eye sunglasses and the ultra-light optical model are embellished by new cutout temples with the iconic interlinked Dolce&Gabbana monogram.

Second, is the Power Pastel, featuring oversized frames made up of two square models and one model with a softer shape, characterized by irregularly-shaped temples and pink or blue lenses. A tribute to freshness and feminine romanticism, with pastel shades inspired by the colors of Spring in Sicily.
