Luxottica Group Announces Audio Webcast of Third Quarter 2008 Results

Milan, Italy – October 17, 2008 - Luxottica Group S.p.A. (NYSE: LUX; MTA: LUX), the global leader in the eyewear sector, today announced that its third quarter of 2008 results
investor conference call will be available via audio webcast on Tuesday, October 28, 2008, at 1:30 PM US ET (5:30 PM GMT, 6:30 PM CET).
