Since 1988, OneSight has partnered with local health organizations, governments, school districts, industry leaders, doctors and volunteers to help more than 9 million people in 46 countries.

OneSight is an independent nonprofit providing access to quality vision care and glasses in underserved communities worldwide. OneSight is committed to eradicating the global vision care crisis that affects more than 1.1 billion people, many of whom could have their vision restored with an eye exam and a pair of glasses.

Since 1988, OneSight has partnered with local health organizations, governments, school districts, industry leaders, doctors and volunteers to help more than 9 million people in 46 countries.

As OneSight’s founding global sponsor, Luxottica provides annual operating support, frames and the engagement of approximately 23,000 doctors and employees. This specialized expertise has allowed OneSight to create sustainable and charitable access to quality vision care and eyewear to build solutions to help the world see.

Charitable Programs

  • OneSight hand delivers much needed, free eye care and eyewear through temporary clinics and mobile vision vans globally and regionally.
  • OneSight helps patients in local communities through in-store and outreach programs.
  • OneSight funds research to address global eye health issues and invests in the next generation of optometric professionals through scholarships and education.

Sustainable INITIATIVES

  • OneSight has pioneered the development of sustainable vision care models that provide permanent access to affordable, high quality vision care to millions in need through community and school-based models.

Luxottica Employees Engagement
Luxottica donates thousands of hours in staff time each year to support employee participation in OneSight Clinics 

Luxottica believes in hands-on giving. From OneSight Vision Clinics and Sustainable Development Initiatives in developing countries, to vision screenings in local schools, there are many ways that our employees engage:

  • Every year, more than a thousand of our employees travel the globe to staff OneSight Vision Clinics and Sustainable Development Programs.
  • Thousands more employees manufacture and prepare eyewear for OneSight and support outreach programs in their local communities.
  • Many employees host local fundraising events to benefit OneSight and share their passion with customers by inviting them to donate to the cause.
  • Thousands more employees, in accordance with Luxottica, voluntarily donate one day's pay for OneSight.
