Pearle Vision to open five new stores with the Ignite program

Pearle Vision is one of the leading optical brands in North America and has been part of the Luxottica family since 2004. The brand continues to expand, and after ranking number one in the Eye Care category on Entrepreneur Magazine’s 2021 Franchise 500 list, it has recently finalized a new deal with West Point Optical Group for five new stores in the U.S.

Four of the locations covered by the agreement are existing independent optical practices that will be converted as part of the Ignite program. Conceived by Pearle Vision, Ignite allows the owner to retain ownership of the business, strengthening it and making it more competitive through the brand’s support. These four converted locations will be joined by a new EyeCare Center in Colorado.

Pearle Vision’s practice conversion model benefits both existing Pearle Vision franchise owners and those who are new to the system. The Ignite program was launched with the intention of providing an avenue for independent practice owners to address the costs and pressures of the growing eye care industry. This is an opportunity for both those who run optical businesses, and those looking to invest. Through the program, Ignite is contributing to 12 additional conversions set to be completed this year.
