Since the first episode, "El Profesor" has distinguished his signature look that includes Persol frames, particularly the iconic pilot model with a unique double bridge. Comfortable, due to the flexibility of the Meflecto system and firm, thanks to the accentuated nose rests, a detail that characterized the creations of the Turin brand since the 1917. With the huge success of the series, this timeless classic has returned to the spotlight and Persol, through its capsule, realizes a special tribute to it.

The collection is handmade in Italy and includes both sunglasses and prescription models, respectively "El Profesor Sergio" and "El Profesor Original". Both versions are offered in black and tortoiseshell frames in the "Coffee" shade, both in acetate.

For true fans of the series, there are also 350 numbered models with 24k gold-plated lenses of the "Casa de Papel" model which pays homage to the entire series.

The cases are also themed: each pair of glasses in the collection is delivered in a gold-bar-shaped packaging created specifically for the occasion. In addition, fans can customize any model by engraving their initials on the unmistakable Persol "arrow".
