In this videointerview, Riccardo Blumer talks about his vision of design and how it is part of our everyday lives. "The first thing I do in the morning is designing my day. Then, every action I take is the product of this design". Blumer is an architect, designer and university professor. He is an expert in the research of creative and cognitive processes. He designed public and private interiors, including some of the infielders of the “Teatro alla Scala” of Milan. The Laleggera and Entronauta chairs have been included in the MoMA's collection of New York. Luxottica interviewed him as part of a series of meetings with cultural and science personalities and business managers. Invited to share the characteristics of the company to offer Luxotticans new perspectives and opportunities to broaden their horizons. At the end of the meeting, Blumer reminds us the importance to put ourselves at test and tackle the current challenges, without thinking that another chance will come. We can be a leader, not just a user.
