Two major milestones for Salmoiraghi & Viganò, one of the biggest optical retail chains in Italy, which has been awarded two prestigious prizes in the retail sector.

For the second consecutive year the chain has been awarded the “Miglior Insegna” - “best brand” - prize in the Optical category for 2022.

This acknowledgment is the result of an independent survey promoted by Largo Consumo, performed by Ipsos, endorsed by the retail community and supported by trade associations. In addition to the parameters measured for last year’s award, also won by Salmoiraghi & Viganò, new elements were added to make the survey even more comprehensive for businesses that use data and insights to form a more in-depth understanding of their relationship with their buyers and competitors.

The chosen metrics take account of the purchasing experiences of consumers with the biggest retail brands in Italy and consider elements such as the perception of prices, staff competence, the appreciation of stores and customer engagement. The survey was performed on a sample of 7000 interviewees representative of the Italian population in terms of geographical area, gender and age.

Additionally, for the twelfth consecutive year Salmoiraghi & Viganò has been named “Insegna dell’Anno” - “brand of the year” - by Q&A Research Italia, again in the Optical category. This award is the result of a survey in which consumers cast votes on different metrics including quality, staff courtesy and in-store atmosphere. Salmoiraghi & Viganò stood out for the quality of the service and the staff’s preparation.

These two awards are confirmation of the continuous work and enthusiasm that all members of the Salmoiraghi & Viganò family put in to each and every one of the retail outlets located across Italy.
