They’ve got The Look
Need the perfect sunglasses for that “runway-ready” outfit? The Sunglass Hut Library will lend them to you. The boldest sunglasses designs are now on loan to guests at Fashion Week Australia, Sydney. The watchword: #SGHrunway
Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Australia (MBFWA) 2014 is now in full swing. Fashion editors, bloggers, journalists and VIP guests at the runway shows will be flaunting their most creative outfits ever, celebrating fashion and fashion-lovers everywhere as they take in the collections from Australia’s most innovative designers (just one example? Dion Lee).
Sunglass Hut will be running a special service to help fashionistas make their looks even stronger and more eye-catching. What’s the secret? A “Lending Library” or magic box with 120 pairs of sunglasses from top international designers which can be “borrowed” for a limited time. After a 15-minute style consultation to help choose the perfect pair for your face shape or your style of the day, Sunglass Hut will lend you the sunglasses to brighten up and complete your individual look.
On offer is a whole selection of styles by brands available at Sunglass Hut stores, including designers such as Burberry, DKNY, Dolce & Gabbana, Emporio Armani, Giorgio Armani, Miu Miu, Persol, Prada, Tory Burch, Versace and Vogue Eyewear.
Once your outfit – complete with the perfect sunglasses – is ready, what’s missing? A photo, so you can share your choice with your fans and followers, giving them your own style inspiration to complement the runway looks. As well as handy workstations where you can charge a smart phone or tablet, the library also has a dedicated photographic set. Thanks to a special function, users can post their photos instantly on their Instagram accounts from their mobile device using the hashtag #SGHrunway. Online photos and comments are already pouring in. And that’s just the start of it: the Lending Library will be open until April 10, when Fashion Week Australia draws to a close.
